DISK PACKS

Excalibur's assembly and testing facility contains equipment designed and maintained for certifying hard-to-find lines of removable disk packs and disk cartridges utilized on older mainframe and minicomputer systems. Our staff has been providing manufacturing and testing of disk packs for 21 years and continues to support a number of end-of-life disk pack product lines.

Excalibur offers a complete line of 1/2" magnetic tape from leading media manufacturers including: 3M, BASF, Graham Magnetics and Memorex. Your choice of seals or EZ-LoadII cartridges in 3600', 2400', 1200' and 600' lengths. Excalibur inventories 4mm & 8mm DAT tape cartridges, data cartidges and optical disks.

MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS

SHOCKWATCH: Impact detectors which when installed on a disc pack or cartridge alerts the user to potential physical damage to the media from operator mishandling.

DEGAUSSERS: Available for 1/2" tape reels, tape cartridges, floppy diskettes and disc packs. Excalibur offers a degaussing service for those with smaller requirements.

TAPE CLEANERS & EVALUATORS: Units are available for cleaning and verfiying 1/2" tape, 4mm & 8mm tape, video cassettes and 3480/90 tape cartridges.

PRINTER RIBBONS: We specialize in older dot matrix and impact printer ribbons. Call our product sales department to match a compatible ribbon for your printer.
